The second annual International Consulate Day sponsored by the Exchange Club of Charleston & The Latin Exchange Club will be held this weekend, March 23 & 24 at Exchange Park in Ladson!
The Exchange Club of Charleston & Latin Exchange Club of Charleston are thrilled to announce the return of the International Consulate Day, set to take place at the Exchange Park on March 23 (from 9am – 5pm) and 24, (from 9 am to noon).
The event will feature consulates from Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay all in one venue. This is a historical moment for the city, as never before have so many consulates come together at the same time. The consulates will be providing help for their citizens, including passport and birth certificate services, ID card renewals, and much more. In addition, a health fair will be held with participation from organizations such as Shifa Clinic, DHEC, MUSC, Palmetto CAP, and others.
This event is free of cost and open to everyone. We anticipate hundreds of visitors to attend and take advantage of the services provided by the participating consulates and organizations.
The Latin Exchange Club of Charleston was sponsored by the Exchange Club of Charleston and established on March 1, 2022. Their goal is to raise awareness and support for the Hispanic community, and events such as the International Consulate Day are a part of their efforts to achieve this goal.
The Exchange of Charleston Club was founded on November 7, 1923, and is one of the oldest clubs in the National Exchange Club. The club has awarded over 10 million dollars in donations to deserving organizations and individuals in the Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. The Exchange Club of Charleston, SC has owned and operated the Coastal Carolina Fair since 1957, and our members volunteer over 15,000 hours each year to make that annual fundraiser a success!
